GHI’s  staff is comprised of experienced professionals with diverse backgrounds, including earthquake science, engineering, medicine, law, communications, finance and international development. 

Julie Jomo joined our staff in 2013 and guides the content and voice of GeoHazards International’s communications. Previously, she was an editor and technical writer for clients in the environmental engineering and health care fields. She holds a B.A. in Communications from Stanford University, where she learned about Diffusion of Innovations from Everett Rogers, whose insights, it turns out, have inspired how GeoHazards International helps people to reduce their disaster risk.
