GHI’s  staff is comprised of experienced professionals with diverse backgrounds, including earthquake science, engineering, medicine, law, communications, finance and international development. 

Aparajita brings over 20 years of experience in communications, non-profit development and public policy. She is a storyteller, skilled graphic and web designer, and a film maker. At GeoHazards International, she also contributes to event management and maintains donor relations. In the past, she has worked with organizations such as USAID, International Committee of the RedCross, Care International and National Peace Campaign, Nepal.

Aparajita has a Master's in Social Policy from The University of Sydney, Australia and a Bachelor's in English Literature and Sociology from Tribhuwan University, Nepal. Aparajita is fluent in English and Nepali, and conversational in Hindi and Urdu languages.
