He Leaps This River Every Day

Updated: Aug 20, 2021

As we greet the new year, let’s celebrate the people who take on challenges, every day, in the world’s most vulnerable places.

They face obstacles, and sometimes they fall short. But they aspire to something great.

Thanks to your support, GeoHazards International is bringing together the leaders, planners, and doers who help communities choose their safest path forward.

Natural hazards strike rich and poor countries alike, but the poor suffer far more disasters. We work to close that gap, to prevent tragedies in places like Nepal, India, Bhutan, and Haiti.

What does your support look like? Children attend safer schools. Doctors and nurses plan ahead for disasters. Local engineers and geologists design better buildings and roads. Families prepare. Towns and cities plan for resilience.

Thank you for helping to make this happen.

Wishing you and your family good health and safe journeys in 2019,

Brian E. Tucker, Founder and the team at GeoHazards International

P.S.: All donations will be matched, dollar-for-dollar, up to $50,000. The GeoHazards International Board of Trustees is making this offer through December 31.
