As we greet the new year, let’s celebrate some everyday heroes: the people who insist on change in the world’s most vulnerable places.
Thanks to your support, GeoHazards International is bringing together the thinkers, planners, and doers to help communities choose the safest path forward.

Natural hazards strike rich and poor countries alike, but the poor suffer far more. Step by step, we work with local champions to close that gap, to prevent tragedies in places like Nepal, northeast India, Bhutan, and Haiti.
What does your support look like? Children studying in safer schools. Doctors and nurses preparing for disaster emergencies. Engineers, geologists, and planners training to protect lives. A family practicing how to respond.
Thank you for helping to make this happen.
Wishing you and your family good health and safe journeys in 2018.
