Sylvia Vaquer is a design leader helping organizations innovate, bring products and services to life, and scale their positive social impact. She is Co-founder and spearheads product at Context Nature, a climate finance startup helping businesses identify, manage and maximize green tax credits and incentives. Previously, she co-founded and managed SocioFabrica, an award-winning agency that helps businesses create meaningful relationships with consumers. For over a decade, she led a cross-functional team to build innovative product experiences for NTT and IBM, created growth marketing initiatives for Nespresso & Ross, and partnered with New Orleans Business Alliance (NOLABA) in post-Katrina New Orleans to build trust and launch new services that catalyzed economic development. After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), Ms. Vaquer worked at global consulting firms advising companies in creative strategy, experience design, branding and innovation for clients that include: PwC, CPUC, (RED), PepsiCo, Target, Starbucks. She joined the GeoHazards International Board in 2025.
